If you haven’t had a chance to play the new Slither.io mobile game, stop what you’re doing and try it! Once you start playing, you will find you don’t want to stop. In this game, you begin as a worm and grow to a snake. The goal of the game is to grow your snake into the largest in the game.

To begin, you sign on the website, Slither.io from a desktop computer or you can download the game from the Apple or Google Play store on a mobile device. Once you log on and select a user name you will land on a black board as a tiny colored worm. This is where you start to move your worm around the board to eat the colored dots all over the board. The more dots you eat the longer the snake grows. But wait, it’s not that easy. You have to avoid other snakes. If you run into one of them, your snake will become a large line of colored dots that other snakes can gobble up, and the games over. Any of the other snakes can kill you. It’s a fast moving, fun game to play.

Moving around is easy. If you play Slither.io on a computer, you’ll use the left and right arrows to move around. If you play on your phone or tablet, you’ll use your finger and tap once in the direction you want to move. In the beginning, your worm just basically wants to eat as much as it can to grow. But be sure to steer clear as the bigger snakes. You’ll want to taunt the other snakes to run into you. When this happens your snake can eat up the dots they become.

The bigger your snake becomes, the more vulnerable you are to crashing into others so if you’re pretty comfortable with your size, try avoid crashing into others. Meanwhile, others may crash into you just because of your size, which provides a steady flow of dots to consume.
